  • The Democrats behavior on the Kavanaugh nomination reminds me eerily of the French Revolution. Chuck Schumer, who should be careful what he wishes for, reminds me of Robespierre, a lawyer/politician who called for the beheading of King Louis XVI and his wife, Marie Antoinette. A few years later, amid the countrywide enthusiasm for the guillotine, Robespierre lost his head. Diane Fienstein reminds me of Madame DeFarge, one of the major villains in Dickens' novel \”A Tale of Two Cities\”, called for the beheading of numerous people, regardless of whether or not they were guilty of what they were charged for.
